This repository contains the source code for WemX.

WemX is source-available software, not open-source software. The source code is made available for transparency, inspection, contribution, installation, and permitted self-hosted use. Public availability of the source code does not grant unrestricted rights to use, copy, modify, redistribute, sell, sublicense, rebrand, white-label, fork, or commercially exploit the software.

License Requirement

Use of WemX requires a valid license key issued by WemX through its official website, customer portal, billing system, or another channel authorized by WemX.

Your right to install, activate, access, or use WemX is subject to:

  1. This LICENSE.md file;
  2. The WemX End User License Agreement (EULA.md); and
  3. Any applicable plan terms, order terms, privacy policy, refund policy, or written agreement issued or approved by WemX.

By downloading, copying, installing, accessing, modifying, or using WemX, you agree to comply with the WemX EULA.

Key Restrictions

Unless expressly permitted in writing by WemX, you may not:

  1. Use WemX without a valid license key;
  2. Tamper with, remove, disable, bypass, or interfere with the license validation system;
  3. Bypass, remove, disable, or exceed plan limits or feature restrictions;
  4. Remove required branding or attribution unless your license plan permits it;
  5. Sell, resell, redistribute, sublicense, rebrand, white-label, or market WemX as your own product;
  6. Fork, clone, modify, or create a derivative version of WemX and market, sell, distribute, or promote it as a separate or competing product;
  7. Share, publish, sell, lease, sublicense, or otherwise distribute license keys;
  8. Use WemX in violation of applicable law or third-party rights.

Internal Modifications

You may modify WemX only for your own internal use, provided that you maintain a valid license key and do not bypass license validation, plan limits, required attribution, or any restrictions in the EULA.

Modified versions may not be redistributed, sold, sublicensed, rebranded, white-labeled, or marketed as your own product without prior written permission from WemX.

Telemetry and License Validation

WemX may collect and transmit telemetry, installation, activation, and license-validation data as described in the EULA and Privacy Policy. This may include information such as IP address, domain, license key, software version, operating system, installation details, and plan-usage indicators.

You must not block, falsify, manipulate, or interfere with telemetry or license-validation data used to enforce licensing, plan limits, security, fraud prevention, or abuse prevention.

EULA Controls

The full terms governing installation, use, restrictions, telemetry, liability, termination, and legal obligations are set out in the WemX End User License Agreement (EULA.md).

If there is any conflict between this LICENSE.md file and the EULA, the EULA controls unless a separate written agreement signed by WemX states otherwise.

No Warranty

WemX is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, WemX disclaims all warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, security, reliability, and error-free operation.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WemX and its owners, employees, contractors, contributors, affiliates, licensors, suppliers, and service providers shall not be liable for damages arising from or related to use of the software, including bugs, vulnerabilities, exploits, data loss, downtime, misconfiguration, third-party services, unlawful use, or business losses.
